Rock Cycle - Shurtleff

Please explain to me how the rock cycle works. You need to be specific in giving different examples with the 3 different kinds of rocks. You may use your books pages E60 - E61.

The Rock Cycle starts with Sedimentary Rocks with heat and pressure turns the rock in to Metamorphic Rock.Melting makes Magma and Lava followed by Cooling and Crystallizing turns into Igneous rock. Weathering can make sediments. After that compacting and Cementing turns into Sedimentary rock.

The rock cycle works when lava comes out of a volcano then the lava hardens to make igneous rock. then when the segments brake up and falls into the lake or river then the pressure pushes together and makes sedimentary rocks when the rocks fall down into the earth it heats up and makes metamorphic rock metamorphic rock means it has changed from 1 rock to another then when the volcanoes lava hits the rock it brakes up in it and when the valcano eurups the lava hardens witch makes igneos rock again. Then the rock cycle keeps on going fom igneos rock to sedimentary rock to metamorphic rock!

sediments into compacting and cementing this is sedimentary rock.now heat and pressure start building up to build metamorphic rock.now the rock starts melting and magma and lava start then it gets close to the top and starts cooling and crystallizing. to form igneous rock now it starts weathering into sediments

the rock cycle is simple sedementry rock needs heat and preasure then it turns to meamorphic rock then when a volcano eroups metamorphic rock goes through melting then magma and lava then it goes through cooling and crystallizing then you have igneous the way igneous goes through the cycle it goes through weathering then it turnes to sedements and compacting and cementing then the rock goes back to sedementry this all hapens in a thosand or more to compleate the rock cycle.

There are three different rocks in the rock cycle theres Igneous, Metamorphic, and Sedimentary. The rock cycle starts with a sedimentary rock the sedimentary rock goes through heat and pressure and dries to form a metamorphic rock the metamorphic rock melts to magma and lava and cools and crystallizes to form a igneous rock the igneous rocks go through weathering then they turn to sediments those sediments go through compacting and cementing to form a sedimentary rock and thats how the rock cycle works

The rock cycle is when a Igneous, Sedimentary, or Metamorphic rock changes into a different kind of rock, not including itself. For example, a Sedimentary rock can change to an Metamorphic rock by heat and pressure. A sedimentary rock cannot change into another Sedimentary rock. A Sedimentary rock can change into a Metamorphic rock by heat and pressure, A Metamorphic rock can change into Igneous by melting from magma. Once the Igneos cools and hardens, wheathering can break the rock into tiny bits and is blowed in the wind to where other sediments are, and over millions of years, the sediments pile on top of each other and hardens to form Sedimentary rocks again. Igneous, Sedimentary, and Metamorphic rocks can be changed in different orders, but if I tell about all of them it will take me forever. That is the rock cycle.

There are three different kinds of rock formations. There are the IGNEOUS,the METAMORPHIC, and the SEDIMENTARY.The rock cycle starts with magma and lava,to igneous rock,to sediments,to sedimentary rocks,to metamorphic rocks!!! When you play most board games, you can move in only one direction around the board. Its just like how the rock cycle works!!!Magma and lava turns into igneous, and then the igneous rocks can be turned into sediments, and sediments can be turned into sedimentary rocks, and sedimentary rocks can be turned into metamorphic rocks and then metamorphic rocks can be melted into magma and lava.

The rock cycle starts with magma and lava,it cools and crystalizes to make Igneous rock. Then the rock could get weathered or pushed into the Earth. If it gets weathered then it will turn into sediments. The sediments will compact and cement together until they become Sedimentary rock. Now if the Igneous rock gets pushed in the Earth it will be affected by heat and pressure and turn into Metamorphic rock. Each rock can turn into each other at any stage in the rock cycle. The rock cycle is the cycle where rocks turn into each other.

The rock cycle works like this:any rock can turn into another type of rock. The things that change rocks are/is melting, cooling, weathering, compacting, heat and pressure. The three types of rock are sedimentary, metamorthic, and igneous.Rocks sometimes have to turn into other things to become a rock, such as sediments, magma and lava.

The rock cycle works by starters it starts outby magma then it is used by all cinds of the rock cycle it uses allmost all its energy by tring to make all kinds of rocks.

first the ignious rock comes out of the volcanoe ten it biols and hardens and gets sweeped into the ocean. Then the sedemantary rocks form from the sand, mud, and the dirt. Then the metamorphic rocks come in and it changes to molten rocks

The rock cycle works by changing into different rocks.Igneos chang's into sediments.Sediments change into sedimentary rocks.Sedimentary rocks turn into metamorphic then it melts into magma and lava. This helps by making the world more balanced. These rocks are spread all around the world. These rocks are used everywhere. The railroad and are used on the ground.Rocks make up the world mostly in hawii and in mount saint helens

the rocks that were formed are the lava the makes it smelt little bit and brings it to the heat preasure to smelt it to make it to a rock and then it geos to the cooling crystallizing to make it to be a real rock then it makes it to be bumby or any typs of rocks that can be formed by heat preasure and sedimants and melting.

first the metamorphic rock melts then the magma and lavathen it turns in to a igneous rock. The weathering turns it in to sediments. After that the Sedamints go in to oceans, lakes and rivers. After a long time the sediments push together and turn in to a sedimentary rock. After that Heat and pressure cause the sedimentary rock to turn in to a metamorphic rock. After that the rock cycle starts all over again.

the rocks. they change into difrent rocks fram magma and pressure.

the rock cycle changes rocks into other rocks.they turn into sediments, magma, lava, metamorphic, igneous and metamorthic.the things that change them are/is heatssure, melting, cooling, crystallizing, weathering, compacting, andcementing.the rocks turn into anything that hasto do with rocks.

This is how the rock cycle works. Igneous Rocks go through heat and pressure then form Metamorphic rocks. Metamorphic rocks get broken down into sedaments. Then the sedaments are pushed together to make Sedamentary rocks. Then Sedamentary rocks melt and your back to Metamorphic rocks.

Sedimentary rock with heat and pressure turns inot metamorphic rock. Metamorphic rock melts with magma and lava. This cools with crystalizing and turns them into igneous rock. The igneous rock through weathering turns into sediments. The sediments with compacting and cementing turn into sedimentary rock.

First a valcano erupts. The rocks that cool from it are called Igneous. Through weathering, it turns into sediments. Then by compacting and cementing, it turns into Sedimentary rock. Going through heat and pressure, it turns into Metamorphic rocks. Melting, it turns into magma and lava. Then by cooling and crystallizing, it turns into Igneous rock all over again! Isn't the rock cycle interesting!

The Rock cycle starts when Sedimentary rocks form at or near Earths surface. The sedimentary rock will cool and harden. That will form into Metamorphic rock. Metamorphic rock is made of heat, pressure, or chemicals.Metamorphic rock forms into, Igneous rock. Igneous rock is rock that melted rock material cools anad hardens. When the rock cycle is done it starts all over again!!!

This is how the rock cycle works.Sedimetary rocks can go through heat and pressure and then turn into metamorphic rocks. Metamorphic rocks can go through melting and turn into magma and lava cooling and crystallizing and turn into igneous rock then after going through cooling and crystallizing it will go through wethering it will turn into sediments and then it will go through compacting and cementing and then that leves off at sedimentary rocks!!!!!!!

They chang at or near earth surface. When these rock become buried? High temperatures and pressures deep below the sureface change. Sedimentary rocks follow this change on the diagram.
